Handles under .gov.ai and country sub-roots (.ae.ai, .ph.ai) are Sovereign Anchors. They sit entirely outside the market mechanics that govern brand and personal handles.

How sovereign handles differ

  • No buyout. Sovereign handles can never be bought out or transferred by market action.
  • No fees. Exempt from namespace pricing and annual maintenance — they cannot lapse or be auto-suspended.
  • Multi-sig control. Reallocation requires an N-of-M cryptographic signature from a hardware-backed national PKI root — not a credit card.
Provisioning is handled by ANHA operators directly with the requesting authority. Contact your ANHA representative to begin a sovereign onboarding.
